How to Get Admission in the USA After 10th Grade

If you're looking to come to the United States after completing twelfth grade, it's best to start planning with your family as early as ninth or tenth grade. The US is renowned for its excellent education system, which provides students with the opportunity to develop industry-relevant skills backed by high-quality education. Countries such as the US, France, Canada, the UK, Singapore, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand are all welcoming of students from different nationalities, including Indians. However, they must go through additional measures to apply for admission to university, financial aid, prove their economic status and obtain a US visa.

In the US, most high schools offer a variety of AP courses, while in India there are very few (roughly one school per state, as far as I know) that offer AP courses. To study abroad after tenth grade with a grant from this organization, you must choose the US Department of State as your destination. Studying in the US after tenth grade gives you much more freedom to choose which courses you want to take compared to India. Career Trajectory recommends an 11-step planning process to ensure admission and financial aid at major US colleges and universities.

Canada is also a great option for international students due to its favourable environment. In India, organic chemistry is taught on eleventh and twelfth grade, but in the US it is a second-year university course. You can study in the US for eleventh and twelfth grade if you have the proper documentation and are accepted at an accredited school such as a private boarding school. Canada is no less than the US in terms of quality of education.

The student must have obtained admission to Cornell University and must be eligible for a need-based scholarship.
